both my Willamette's at my 'garden plot' are up, and a little bushy
looking, and not very tall. I'll have to start stringing them up in a week
or so. I took cuttings, and gave some to Nathan, and kept one for the new
place im renting. I have one shoot coming up, about 3 inches tall so far.
When I first planted my Willamette's, one came up and the other didn't. I
carefully removed the dirt on top of it, as opposed to 'digging it up'. I
found that I had planted it upside down, and the shoots were coming out of
the 'bottom', and had to loop around to the top to come up. I flipped, it,
and it came up, but only grew half as much as the other one the first year.
its caught up finally this (3rd) year i think; they both look about the
same bushiness.
