with Pat already and it might work Collin for you to get your beer to him
and he can keg it at his place. I'm kegging the other batch with Jasper early
next week and will coordinate with Pat to get that batch up to his house. I
don't have a beer Fridge anymore, so I can't store the kegged beer here for any

Party...Location and Brew<BR></FONT><BR></DIV>

<DIV>I haven't heard much response in regards to a location for the summer
party, but I'm all for having it at Pat's place. Sounds like a sweet
location for such an event. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Also, I just wanted to throw out that the second batch of brew for the
summer party is doing well in my basement. I'll be out of town this
weekend, which starts to limit the number of days left to get it into a
keg. I can swing it by someone's house if that would make kegging any
easier. Just let me know what works. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Thanks,</DIV>

text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"<BR><BR><BR>at the last meeting I offered to
host the summer party - there's a few pros and cons to having the event at my
place which I will try to list for your consideration so that you may provide
the proper input to the powers that
be<BR><BR><BR><BR>Cons:<BR><BR><BR><BR>location - 1.75 miles off of route 93
at the top of Evaro hill - probably 15-20 miles away from most of you, but a
very quick travel - I can get downtown in 20 minutes - I think carpooling
would be a good idea<BR><BR><BR><BR>sunshine - I'm in the woods, so we'll
loose the sunshine a few hours earlier than in the valley - I would suggest
starting the party in the early afternoon to provide enough time for fun and
games and still allow us to eat while it's warm outside - this also means we
would have to start drinking beer earlier, which actually makes this a pro and
not a con!<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Pros:<BR><BR><BR><BR>lots and lots of elbow
room - 24 forested acres, large yard for games and socializing - plenty of
shade if it's warm<BR><BR><BR><BR>various overnight accommodation options
available for anyone not wanting to drive - the guest bedroom has already been
claimed by Mike & Paula, but there's also a futon couch, a regular couch,
floor space, many places for tents either on the lawn or in the woods, two
cabin like buildings - not finished guest houses, but better than sheds -
watertight, windows, the larger of the two has electricity - no furniture, but
a pad and sleeping bag would work well if you didn't want to bother with a
tent<BR><BR><BR><BR>distant neighbors - nobody close by to
offend<BR><BR><BR><BR>fenced in yard - four legged friends
welcome<BR><BR><BR><BR>hot tub - assuming it works - it just got delivered
today, electrician will hook it up tomorrow<BR><BR><BR><BR>and lastly, I
wouldn't have to
drive!<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Cheers,<BR><BR>Pat<BR></BLOCKQUOTE></DIV>
