Hi all,

Hopefully those of you in Missoula will have a chance to tune in or
attend the following:

*Retired Seattle Police Chief to Speak Against Drug War, in Support of
Missoula Initiative #2*

Norm Stamper, now a leader of the national Law Enforcement Against
Prohibition (see www.leap.cc for more info), will visit Missoula this
week to support Initiative #2 and speak against the so-called drug war:

* KUFM news broadcast, evening of Wednesday, October 11

* Free lecture at UM law school Castle Center, 6:30 PM October 11

* "Face the State" statewide broadcast on CBS TV affiliates, Sunday,
October 15, 9 AM

By the way, we just found out how easy it is to vote 'absentee' in
Missoula -- you simply walk into the county elections office (2nd floor
of the north side of the building by the bus transfer station), fill out
the very brief application, and then you can walk down the hall and
vote! (You can also take the ballot home and mail it in.) For those of
you with hectic-nonstop-go-go lives, this is a great option to
participate in democracy on your own schedule.

Make sure to vote YES on Initiative #2!

Thanks!
