<p><b>
The Fairfield County Regional Planning Commission is working on a
revitalization plan for the Village of Carroll. As a part of that
process, they retained the Neighborhood Design Center to prepare a
series of images showing potential improvements for the village. In
addition to a landscape feature recalling the village’s history as the
place when three canals intersected in the 19th century, the project
included façade enhancements for individual buildings. Potential
streetscape improvements of benches, trees, bike racks, lighting and
landscaping were also designed.</b></p>
